John Houghton

Associate Consultant

John is an Associate Consultant at Metro Dynamics. He has nearly 20 years of experience of place-based project, initially in government and then as a consultant. He is currently leading the Fenland Town Teams work for Metro Dynamics. This involves detailed data analysis, facilitation of partners, community engagement, and the development of detailed masterplans for each town.

He has previously developed regeneration framework and strategic plans for many places including Margate, Wembley, Tilbury, and Swindon and Wilshere. Before becoming a consultant in 2007, John worked at the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit where he managed the £42m Single Community Programme.
