Over the last 10 years we have worked on projects with Councils, Mayoral Combined Authorities, LEPs, universities, investors and developers, government departments and agencies. We have cultivated a positive reputation with our clients by not only demonstrating our expertise and capabilities but also by embedding our values—caring, independence, curiosity, collaboration, and impact—into our work and the operation of Metro Dynamics as a business.

In March 2022 Metro Dynamics became an employee-owned business, setting up an Employee Ownership Trust. We appointed Pat Ritchie CBE as the Non-Executive Chair of our Business Board. Being an Employee Ownership Trust means controlling interest in the company is held for the benefit of all employees. The transition to becoming an Employee Ownership Trust underpins our commitment to:

  • Champion innovative and inclusive ways of running a values led businesses

  • Embed employee voice in our plans and vision for the future

  • Create a sustainable business model, where financial interests of employees are safeguarded

Our Employee Ownership Trustees are appointed by employees to act as custodians of the business, our mission, values and vision. Our Employee Ownership Trustees work closely with the Company Board to ensure Metro Dynamics evolves in a manner that aligns with the long-term interests of both current and future employees. Having Pat Ritchie as our Non-Executive Chair supports us to hold true to our values and continue to develop our business.
