April Grossman
Researcher
April is focused on driving inclusive growth outcomes in 'left behind' places by building new public-private models to improve infrastructure and service delivery.
She is a skilled analyst working across our service areas with a particular emphasis on strategy development and policy influencing, as well as project development and implementation. April brings together both qualitative and quantitative analytical expertise, with particular skills in engagement facilitation and QGIS mapping. Her recent work includes research into public service reform on behalf of Core Cities, as well as developing casemaking collateral on behalf of Camden Council to support development around Euston Station.
April joined Metro Dynamics after completing her MSc in Local Economic Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her work at the LSE included examining the relative advantages of place-based versus spatially-blind policies, studying methods to improve housing conditions and reduce housing insecurity in high-growth cities, and exploring the potential for skills mix equilibrium through education and skills training programmes. She also has experience developing public-private partnerships for affordable housing in rural areas.
