Aless is driven by a strong passion for urban regeneration and development, working with public sector clients, master planners, developers, and funding bodies to make compelling cases for investment and create viable, deliverable, and impactful projects set up for success from the start.
Leveraging her extensive expertise in HM Treasury Green Book compliant business cases, funding bids, economic impact assessments, and prioritisation frameworks, Aless has been pivotal in securing funding for clients, advancing transformative capital and revenue investment, and informing strategic investment decisions.
Her notable achievements includes securing £10m for Liscard Town Centre, delivering the business case for Birkenhead’s £25m Towns Fund, producing the economic impact assessment of Bristol Temple Quarter and London Euston Regeneration, developing the investment proposition for MediaCityUK expansion, crafting the business case and supporting the mobilisation of CPCA Market Towns and Business Growth Loan and Equity funds, and developing the County Durham investment framework, which was launched at UKReiiF.
Before joining Metro Dynamics, Aless worked in local government, producing business cases for complex projects such as the London South Bank University expansion in Croydon. She holds an MSc in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering and a BSc in Mathematical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan and was a researcher at UCL as part of the EPSRC-funded Liveable Cities programme.
